The view from our double room, overlooking the countryside, was absolutely stunning. The food throughout our stay was superb, particularly the duck breast, and the casual wine selection was refreshing. All staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. The peaceful setting away from tourist crowds is a major plus, making this a gem worth revisiting.

missingWrote a review on Aug 19roll-top bathcommunity atmospherevibrant localsnoise disturbances
The roll-top bath in the room provided a luxurious soak after a long day, making it a highlight of the stay. The pub atmosphere buzzed with friendly locals and cyclists, creating a vibrant community feeling that was both welcoming and enjoyable.
Rooms facing the bar can get quite noisy, especially during live music nights, which might disrupt those seeking a restful evening. On top of that, inadequate staff presence at certain times can lead to delays, particularly if you need assistance for any issues late at night. Hot water issues were also reported, with some experiencing lukewarm availability when they wanted a hot shower—the experience could have been smoother. Lastly, it's important to note that the hotel is quite remote, with minimal street lighting, so getting back after dark may pose some challenges.

We had a lovely time enjoying the outdoor space and the fresh pizza oven during our stay! The quirky vibes and cozy feel made it feel like home, with the added bonus of a relaxing beer garden and peaceful lounge. The only small hiccup was that the doors had a tendency to slam, but it wasn't a big deal once the night settled in. 🍕

The double room was super spacious and had a cozy vibe with lovely old furnishings. The bed was huge and really comfortable, making it hard to get up in the morning! The shower was powerful and easy to control, but the en-suite could use a little upgrade. The local touches in the decor were nice and made the room feel special. But, yeah, the room doors were a bit noisy when they closed, which was a little annoying.
